Overview

Located in the heart of Milan at Via Marcello Malpighi, Panino Giusto stands out as a refined destination for lovers of traditional Italian panini and beyond. This restaurant blends the simplicity of a classic sandwich joint with the sophistication expected in one of Italy’s culinary capitals.

The menu is a celebration of quality ingredients and curated flavors, showcasing panini made with top-tier cured meats such as Prosciutto di Parma and Speck from Trentino. Among the standout offerings, the Washington panino delivers a fresh, crispy, and meaty bite that has earned it local admiration. For those looking to indulge further, the Panino Esagerato and the Cacioburger push traditional boundaries with bold, satisfying creations.

Complementing the food, Panino Giusto presents a well-rounded drink selection, including a crisp Messina beer on tap, a variety of white wines, and classic Italian aperitifs like the Spritz. The aperitivo experience here is generous, offering substantial portions that elevate what is often a simple snack ritual into a convivial event—a point noted by many patrons who appreciate both the quantity and quality served.

The space reflects Milanese charm through a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with attentive staff contributing to an energetic yet relaxed vibe. Though it can get busy, especially at peak times when locals flock to the venue, the service remains responsive enough to keep the mood light. Air conditioning ensures comfort during warmer months, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Panino Giusto appeals to a broad audience: from casual visitors seeking a quick yet flavorful bite, to groups enjoying a leisurely aperitivo, and connoisseurs drawn to artisanal panini crafted with care and tradition. Desserts like their version of Tiramisù Giusto and a gluten- and lactose-free Torta Caprese offer a sweet finish grounded in Italian heritage.

In essence, Panino Giusto is more than just a sandwich spot—it's a place where quality ingredients meet Milanese conviviality. For anyone in the city craving authentic panini paired with thoughtfully curated drinks, it’s a destination worth adding to the itinerary.

Recommend having aperitivo here. Yes it’s part of a chain but I’m not even embarrassed about enjoying it. Absolutely cracking pint of Messina lager, huge aperitivo portions. Service not the best but not the worst either

Hidden pearl in Milan. Absolutely astonishing place with great variety of paninis and more. The panini Washington was the best ever panini I had. Amazing! Fresh, crispy, meaty ... Waited a bit to get a table cause it is very crowded by locals, so this tells you something immediately!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a great find. Excellent service with very friendly staff, and the coffee was really good. As we saw, many locals also come here, which gives it a true local vibe and atmosphere – not one of those overhyped tourist spots. Even though we didn’t try the food, it looked great, and the prices are much lower than in the city center.

The food was delicious, the bread was crispy yet soft on the inside, the flavour combinations of the “veg 2” panini were so unique and paired perfectly. The service was incredible, Carlotta was our waitress, she was so friendly and helpful, she recommended a wine for us. Five stars for Carlotta alone! Lovely atmosphere as well. 100% recommend this place.
